Geocaching has become a popular family activity for residents of the north state. Local Dentist Mike Nelson, 50, of Redding has placed over 60 caches throughout the north state. He makes it a family affair taking his daughter Kendra Nelson, 20, in the pink and black shorts, his nephew, Cory Short, 14 and nieces, Lydia Short, 10 in the Pink Monkey shirt and Elaina Short, 8 in the blue shirt. The team is placing a cache at Mary Lake. The cache is marked as Falks Lake because that is the former name of the lake.
